Welcome to CNP Shivakumar ! Hope you will enjoy participating here.

Back to the image,

Please help me to improve this image.

I hope there is no assumption here that the views we share here are absolute and correct :) Obviously it is just our views. If the image you made works for you/pleases you then image is a success. You are the best judge of your work. Being critical about it often helps us grow. I have seen a few friends of mine who are overly worried about a group in England approving their work for a fellowship :) It is not mathematics, it is art ! everyone is right. If we produce work that fits others taste then it is a failure. With that philosophical note... :)

Hearing others thoughts at times may be interesting. See if this works for you - to me, this is far more interesting than peacock being in clear focus. Not because everything blur is more appealing. There are very subtle nuances of the images which are often difficult explain. In this image I kind of like the scratched appeal. I think hiding the identity of subject would have added to the interest. A print on canvas may be appealing.

Welcome to CNP Shivakumar,
May be I would like to see a little hint of the peacock, not in complete focus, but a little hint. may be I would have seen this image in a different way if you had not revealed the identity of the bird.
