Part due to deeply felt need part inspiration from RDs profound series "Art of clutter" I've been trying to explore whatever is left of wild spaces.

Part due to deeply felt need

Nirlep, I would love to know more about the deeply felt need. The arrangement of those hanging branches seem to strike a chord within which I can't exactly articulate, why ? still pondering..

Ganesh the deeply felt need is to rebel against the prevailing sense of order in everything we see around us; from our parks to our gardens to establishment. In this perverted sense of order I see oppressive hierarchy who wants to control everything. Wild spaces with their autonomy randomly grow into forms that are not only comforting but in a way strongly critique the politics of aesthetics and art. Such spaces remind me of what Jiddu Krishnamurthy said "deep ecology". Hope I'm making sense...

Interesting thoughts there Nirlep. I am not sure whether the sense of 'order' that we desire is rooted in our inability to deal with complexity beyond a point (we discussed about Seven Plus or Minus Two). However, I agree with your thoughts on 'oppressive hierarchy' that the need for sense of order leading us into. Yes, the issue is if we can't decipher then we want it in our way ! You made a subtle point here Nirlep..
