Bird and a Stone
I made this image yesterday. Shiv and me crawled to use the beautiful context - sweet morning (back) light and an asthetic rock with those little flower adding to the frame. Nikon D700, 600mmf4+tc14e, cloned a tiny twig from the foreground..

Thanks for your view..

great picture and lighting , the flowers in the front is the highlight of the picture, the cloning is visible in mac

Sunder, I would love to know what you see as cloning on Mac ! It was a very tiny one, just love to know what you thought is cloned (as seen on your mac!) :)

without those little flowers this would be another wide shot....for me the flowers made the image....the small golden light on the bird makes it more interesting....

beautiful golden back light gives a feeling both the bird and the little flower are having conversation! Thanks for sharing, Vikram.

What I liked about this image is the hues! With very less hues the mood is so well made. The rim lighting on the bird and the mild lighting on the rock surface are very subtle but very effective. m I seeing a dust spec on the right side of its head?

Hi Ganesh
It's a beautiful intimate shot. I agree with Praveen that flowers have contributed a lot to the shot. Their inward curvature harmonises with other profiles in the image. Also, how subtle presences transform the image. The sombre stone becomes a "scape" with tiny "flowerettes" and emptiness inhabited. Simple and beautiful composition! Thanks for sharing.

This is such a simple yet eloquently beautiful image! There is not a single element in the picture that is unnecessary or misplaced! Looks like one made in the studio, and the fact that it's been made in natural surroundings is what makes it fabulous!

Just love the tonality, the light, the composition and of course the sprig. Thanks for sharing this quintessential masterpiece.

I love how the presence of the flowers have enhanced a wide shot. I think its all about seeing. This one illustrates fine example of seeing. Ganesh I think you are a master when it comes to exploiting black backgrounds, would love to see some high key bgs from you.

I like the composition a lot.
Like the way the flower balances the composition. One could also see it the other way :-).
