When a bird Preens...
Preening birds pose some wonderful opportunities for doing some interesting images. Its only the matter of we being ready with the composition and waiting for them to preen! ;) Thats what I exactly did this time. I was ready with the composition, by placing the bird lower in the frame and waiting for something interesting to happen...and there it started its preening...giving some interesting poses...cropped a few pixels at the bottom to take out the OOFed foreground...

Superb image. Vertical composition works a lot. One can easily say the size of the bird! Cropping foreground makes image much better. Thanks for sharing.

Nice use of negative space. Might off-centre the bird a bit & actually including a bit more room in the bottom (even though OOF) might add to the frame IMHO. Liked the grass patch on top.

Nice composition here Ashwin, especially I like the thin strip of land at the bottom with the positive space :) above adding to the image. Thanks for sharing..
