Mystery
When I saw this through the view finder I found the green patterns (coconut tree leaves) added a lot to the image. I felt making a silhoutte adds some mystery feel. So I decided to silhoutte the draco which was in shade agaist these patterns. Draco has been portrayed as a mystery lizard in one of the Kannada novel Karvalo of by writer Poorna Chandra Tejaswi.

Wow! This is superb!!! Very simple concept, but very elegently presented. Whole BG, specifically a touch of brightness behind the Draco head adds to the image. TFS, Ganesh.

WOW, you should have kept the identity of the Draco an open secret Ganesh. ;) Loved the greens and the contrasting blacks here. You could have included a few more pixels at the bottom though at the tip of the tail.

amazing greens, with superb diffused pattern and just right amount contrast esp. in the backdrop of draco's face. i too feel about little more space at the tip.

regards.

Very nice frame here Ganesh and the right decision to go for the silhouette. Perfect example of how 90% of patterned bg can add to the image. Classic shot.

The patterns and the draco head just makes the finishing touch to the image.
Personally i felt the space to bottom and right could have been even better balanced - but not sure how the bg would have got de-emphasized based on that.
Web image is killing the details on the draco.
Will be there in your house the day you print this on canvas.

Carvalho (or Karvalo) is my all time favorite novel. I have read at least 10 times. Coming to the image, leaves pattern is the attention here. How about adding little more of tree trunk (just my taste) :-).

Beautiful image Ganesh. The subtle diagonal stripes adds interest in the BG. Liked the idea of silhouette too.
Might include some space on right for my tastes.

I love the diagonals along the frame and the tilted head sets the mood! Well executed image. I second Shiva about the prints and as others have said, a bit more space at the bottom would have been icing on the cake. But, I do understand the "ground realities" when these creatures needs to be translated to pixels - it's tough. Superb image this.

This is simple thinking high executing, I agree with Kaushik on space on the right, by including the sense of balance would be better and without distracting the lovely diagonal pattern of the bg.

a very very interesting composition.... I am liking the image as presented...pushing the draco to the right and having a 'slightly more than needed' space is what making the composition an intriguing one for me.... I am always a biiiig fan of the greens that you render in your images.... Thanks a ton for sharing...

very well execution, prob i would have added black portion more, shifting it to middle (or around), to give black touch more increasing the green's attractivity more, with little increase in saturation. Fortunately thats not mine, otherwise i would have spoiled it, :)
Thank you very much for the image
