Natures Footprints!
I am a lover of ferns. They throw in lots of opportunities for some creative perspectives.
This was shot at Adithya Biloor's place where you can find them in tonnes during monsoon. The light was peeping through the canopy of their farm and creating a spotlight effect. After a lot of duality finally kind of liked the B&W version more than the color version. However I have shared the color version in the illustration forum.

You can have a look at it here - http://creativenaturephotography.net/fo ... p=857#p857

Fantastic image, Ashwin. Great composition, seeing and execution. Congrats! BTW, i saw the colored version. It didn't work for me. B&W was the right choice here.

Original and unique. Artistical nice image indeed. I do not know how it would have looked with bit more details on leaves.

ah! what shall we say about these delecate things tip-toeing into our consciousness, leading us on into that unfathomable infinity. This is lovely. It's evocative, a dream unfolding, apart from being ferns that they are. It requires a really uncluttered mind to see such simplicity. This picture has made my day today. One of the images I will have to come back to.
Thanks Ashwin!

"Some one just went by in the dreams"

Nature is just so wonderful it gives us so many visions and opportunities to capture its glory.
This one is a real good visualisaiton from you.
A bit more details on the ferns would have made the impact even better.

And did i say i liked the B&W much better than the color version ?

This is called "seeing". I have passed by this fern atleast 1000 times and I not even know the shape of the fern.
However I like the color version (or black and yellow?) more. The warm yellow gives kind of dynamic feel where as this gives a sort of static feeling. Also those yellow leaves look like butterflies.
Not sure whether a bit more space in the left would have enhenced the feeling.

i am lost for words, ashwiniji. yes, very much tip-toeing ... as nirlepji said. great seeing and wonderful composition too. somehow, i liked the coloured version more, as here i see less life & less details in the leaves (on poor monitor?).

regards.

Beautiful "footprints" there Ashwin, very well seen. I would consider opening up the shadow region just a bit. Thanks for sharing..

A great image. For me it is looking like ferry lights of nature or radium arranged in the form of leafs.
