Exuberance, cracks and enlightenment!
What struck me was the cracks occuring in the hardest of the hard rock ! And from these cracks the tree emerged. The feel was intense, rocks were immense and the mood on a overcast and pouring day was perfect to get philosophical and 'intimate' !

Thanks in advance for your views. Thanks for looking.

I know this exact place Pramod and it never fails to catch my attention everytime i visit. This image has very graphic feel to it. Like you mentioned, cracks add a touch of mystery here. Life thrives even in very hostile conditions.

Love this image Pramod ! The finely sharped plant and contrast difference between it and stone makes it lovely. Nice use of light here. Cracks in the sand (parallel lines) adds further to the frame. I tend to think non-pano composition might further add if that was possible. Thanks for sharing..

My mind wants the rock to be very sharp but the tree to be a little less sharper. Life after all is softer than rock as I see :). Lovely image, hmmm mood to get philosophical and intimate right ? :).

:) yesterday morning I was about to upload the same image that I made but because of some urgent office work I was not able to! When I saw in the evening there's yours....this fine image....For my taste the blacks looks a bit dark... I would have preferred a bit less aggressiveness on the blacks. Just my taste.

Here is my image where I had a Scarlet Minivet flying just beside the tree which gives a kind of scale of the tree and that of the mammoth rock...

Thanks for sharing this.

This is a lovely seeing and execution. The image sort of gives a Infra Red look to me which made me more attracted towards it. Likes the way the tree stands out against the huge rocks. The black grooves make the image even more graphical.
Nice one.

Abstract seeing at its best again man! I like the darks of the rocks. I know there cant be a perfect image which suits everybody's tastes, when it comes to abstracts. But according to my tastes and feel, I would prefer the tree to be a little more darker. Its too bright here and takes away the appeal of the texture the rocks have. Also a non pano compo would be even better I guess.

Liked Ashwini's version too. Strange how the presence of a small element in the frame can change the entire perspective. Here we are talking about the texture of the Rocks and the Tree, there we are talking about the size of the same rock and tree just because of the addition of a small red dot showing the Minivet.

I liked this dual presentation even better :) Two different minds seeing the same thing differently.
