I like your idea about spotlight on life which is unique to macro photography.

Ganesh exactly my thoughts on shooting with macro, the use of torches and white balance makes much more impactful images than with flash which render the image flat and also tend to over emphasize things in the frame leading to the point of focus being different than where we desire. The practicalities of shooting with torches in the field is not easy, you must have an assistant who understands what you want.
