This is an extremely interesting visual for me PV, its dark out there, but I can see everything I need to :), I loved this lighting, this idea and of course the frame. I can see the butterfly well, but with this kind of a composition I do not need to see more details than this. Overall I would say this is an amazing image for my taste at least. My compliments for this one.

Killer man! I was impressed the first time I saw it on your website. Nice play with the senses here with darkness dominating the frame and yet teasing the eyes with with very scant details in the subject. You have done well by backing off for this shot as I am sure the added habitat enhances the mood for this image which would have been lost if you had gone for a close up. Khudos!

Nice use of light here Pramod. May be trace of sky light in upper half would have added some dawn effect? But then it might need a wider focal length. Thanks for sharing..

One of the best images of butterfly. Very good control on light. I like those extra plants in the image.

This is outstanding work, Pramod! Brilliant control of light here. I think lighting up subjects with a torch-light or off-shoe flash opens up a whole world of creative opportunities and this image is a fine example of what's possible. I too tried something similar to this, albeit with only grass, in Maidanahalli. Will try and share that some time.

I saw this on your website and was looking for this here. What a clever use of light and the lines of the plants with the butterfly backlit works out to be a great work of visual art. Your recent collection shows a new philosophical side of you.
