Tribute to rocks
First of all, I apologize for staying away from the forum for so long. Extremely busy professionally and personally. When ever I sneak in some time, I find my solace in nature. It's been a while since I am out in the field but had never stopped 'watching' images. At times I feel, a small break like this would bring in some fresh ideas and perspective from the 'monotonous' compositions.

Coming back to the image - had made this image last monsoon. Idea was to get in some rain forest feel in the foreground with the legendary rocks in the background. My all time love are the mountains and rocks. Have been thinking about some new perspectives portraying rocks as my primary subject. Stumbled across this image while I was walking down my memory lanes.

Thanks for looking. I may be wrong in terms of processing / composition, would love to know your thoughts.

What a fantastic presentation, the Yana rocks with the lovely foreground of the vegetation, very unique perspective of Yana indeed.

The graphic nature of the barren rocks in the BG complement the dense foliage of the FG. Nice choice to go highkey with the sky and also presenting it in BW. Definitely a well seen image. I am not sure of the thick white border though.

Amazing one Pramod, I loved the symmetry of the foliage with the rocks in the center . I would loved to have seen a larger image though.
