Praveen, I doff my hat! You may laugh at this, but this image makes me imagine those heavenly avians floating on the clouds in one of those mythological serials that so dominated Television in the 90s! Such is the ethereal quality of this image that it seems to have not two, not three but a fourth dimension that I find hard to explain! Grayscale works like a charm here and lends a certain heightened spiritual aura to this image. If I ever had to use an image to de-stress and make myself happy, I'd simply cut to this image directly. Take a bow for this masterpiece!

Lovely play of light here. Contours of the bird is beautifully emphasized using light. Thanks for sharing Praveen..

Not some one Praveen, there would be hardly anyone who would not like this. Am so sorry that I got late in appreciating this one, I just agree with Santosh as it is surely looking like a heavenly avian floating around in the clouds. Our friend is just as creative with his words as he is with his images. I could not get to see a single one floating around without an obstruction. We all get different views and just all of them can be just the right one. B&W conversion is a very good choice, lovely light and shade play here.

I think your flamingo series is really unique for the very shallow dof, I wonder what settings you were working, the greyscale works well here to tame the harsh light.

One of your and best B&W processing. Waves and side lighting are the highlights for me here.

Just mind blowing. Completely agree with Santosh and VMR. On a lighter note, this image transports be me back to the days of Late Ramanand Sagar ;-)!
