Nature's feathers!!!
When we start looking into the things from very close we start exploring a whole new world altogether! Here is my another attempt where I tried to capture the texture and shape of the snow pallets. When the temp was falling below -18deg these kind of fomrations used to happen just outside the window of our home where the moisture in the air starts freezing and becoming feather like snow! When I got up that day in the morning and saw these creations I got so excited that I made this image even without washing my face!!! :D

Made the image in Ottawa, using Nikon D80 and 18-135mm AF-S

Amazing Nature!!

Thanks for your views.

This is very nice frame you have here. Repeat sequences are not only important in the DNA but as visuals too. Specially the smaller ones on the bottom left and then the bigger ones. The colour added up here too. I love this image.

beautiful texture & nice cool blue. well seen & captured. wish the image was as sharp in top 1/3-rds as it is in the bottom. these kind of images where we r trying to emphasize the texture, rendering sharp image through out may create a better impact on the viewer.
i liked this image a lot.

Nice patterns and colors here. I agree with Kaushik on the sharpness issue at the upper half of the frame. Well seen image nevertheless !

A high impact image. Captures the viewers attention immediately. I echo the thought's of Kaushik on sharpness. Also, the black frame brings out the blues in this image. Well done Ashwini. High marks for this :)
