excellent image.....how about seeing this image in monochrome.....most of the time colour dosent make the image sinple even if we use single or few colours in the image.....the composition is excellent here.....converting to monochrome might take this image to even more heights i feel....just give a try Shankar....i did try it ....

With regard to focus, sharpness - from the beginning for all macro or close-ups, I prefer selective focusing (this may be just my taste and in most cases I do not give attention to edge-to-edge sharpness, I need to overcome that). Secondly while doing un-sharp mask, I always worried of Over sharpening, so I limit to sharpness level whatever looks good on my current small LCD screen . I think we should have minimum 24" monitor to edit colours, brightness, sharpness etc. appropriately.

shankar, here this greenone too is stunningly beautiful but then it eats up the titled theme - that is why i thought that converting to b&w would just have the essence.
