A nostalgic frame, excellently rendered, Abhisek. The title appears very interesting, a few more words? Why "Hypocritical Promise"? For me it appears like a fairy world that appeared in my dream!

It indeed is Ganesh Anna...a fairy world where dreams are often created to be broken with the harsh realities that we wake up to...
A more apt optimistic title would have been just "Togetherness" ... however had been a little glum off late (for no obvious reasons !! ) and had been looking at things with a bit of disillusion ...
Somehow I felt all this "togetherness" that we cherish, our relationships, our promises seems to be so fragile when pitted against time...bcoz at the end, all of it would be rendered futile by the certainty of the inevitable.
I think i need some more time to reconcile myself with the concept of death...

Hmm, I tend to agree with some of those thoughts, Abhisek. With that we slowly get into the discussion of "what is life"? On one end of the spectrum of answers we have artistic/philosophic explanations and at the other end we have scientific explanations of it, from "aathan=brahman" to synthesis of DNA strands. For us, both of them probably are only of academic interest which might feed our intellectual ego! May be we shouldn't ignore the large span of time between now and the end!

That philosophical brooding on the concept of "death" is something which is not just of academic interest I guess, GaneshAnna...I think it gives a lot of understanding on "life" itself and its expressions in the pursuit of an artistic expression.
Intellectualism and pseudo intellectualism has got a very fine line...to which , I completely agree with you, that "we shouldn't ignore the large span of time between now and the end"!!
