A cautious step...
It is true I've been intimidated, every time I've visited CNP and seen the most incredible images here I've balked from even requesting for a membership, not sure if I would fit in. Now I am taking my 1st step, hoping to understand learn and grow and feel the intricacies and beauty of every image here. Thank you.

Welcome to CNP, Tharangini! I hope you will enjoy participating here.

After about 9+ years of posting here at CNP, I too, like you, am not confident of posting all my images here :) But I think that is a good thing! It made me think a lot before pressing the shutter. The whole journey has been very fascinating. It started with rebelling against status quo, questioning routine pretty pictures to creative expressions, use of novel techniques, understanding light, discussion around importance of having a personal style/signature to problems with the personal style/signature to relating different form of arts like music to comparison with other forms of art like paintings to understanding visual grammar and expression of feelings and now to pondering over why all these!! All these probably will lead to couple of last frames, an empty black square and an empty white one in the not too distant future!!

I would love to read a few words about this post. What are your thoughts? I think understanding abstract work needs an open dialogue with the creator to fully absorb the intent and relate to it. It is important to note nature and purpose of such exchange is more of a conversation, not an evaluation. We often mistake our posting to an evaluation which is absurd! I have learnt this after several years :)

Welcome again! Looking forward to more of your participation here!

Thank you Sir. It takes but a single step to get to the other side, but the hesitation that comes before the single step is so massive. I was reminded of that as I watched these ants approach the center of the leaf multiple times but just refusing to cross the center. After quite a wait they took their step. Of course they would not have the same reasons as us but I could just connect :)

Thank you for all your encouraging words. I hope my learning process in this journey helps me discover the many joys of crossing to a new way of expression.

On the contrary, most of the members here are "fearless" to express,
be fearless in experimenting Tharangini,
Welcome.

Thank you @Dinesh Ramarao, Thank you @Bhanukiran. I'll hold that in mind to break free of the fear and express as eloquently as possible. I see a part of myself in nature quite often where I can relate. I am glad I could put it across here. :)
