Closer than usual I have the subject 'disappear' effect or 'fade away' emotion evoked. Ethereal even.

At first, I read your instruction wrongly and watched it from afar instead. I found that interesting too due to frame compression. I think the thumbnail maximizes this impression ( a la miniature art of the photography world ).

Thanks
Vageesha

I would love to see the print, Raj. I can only imagine it’s nuances on the screen. 4x5?

thanks both for taking a look. Yes 4X5 and swing gone wrong. Not sure if happy accident ?. Only right portion is in focus. See how the grains show up more in OOF areas. A learning. Cropped with a heavy heart. Sin to crop 4X5 ( I am shameless cropper in digital !! :) ) Vageesh you got the minitiarization effect. Not my intent though .

Ganesh - as of now printing only 4X5 size direct contact print. Will show you some when we meet next.
Thanks again

I watched it from a close distance, from far. But my 'digitally' trained eyes are not the right choice to give any comment/observation. Need some introduction to this kind of photography before making comment. Your description is very helpful.
