amazing! I am moved by the emotion. The glow on the langur is adding amazingly well to the image. The face of the mother has so much emotion in it. What a picture this one is! You continue rock with your amazing talent in monochromes. Kudos!

Love the way you have positioned the subject. Wonder if one can make the rain a little more visible by making it lighter. Bahut Bhadiya Doc ! Wall hanger if you ask me :-)

Thanks all for your kind words. But the most moving langur image I have seen till date is the one Ganesh shot at Bharatpur, the one with a dead baby. I can see the tears nearly in that langur image with my eyes closed. That was perhaps the first time I felt that wildlife photography DOES NOT mean only closing in to show how the species looks and from there on it has been a journey. Langur to langur return fare = priceless moments of life. :) Thanks to all of you for your kind support.

moving monochrome, nilanjan. love the expression of langaur as well as monsoon. wish there were light in the rain streaks or little less glow contrast on the langaur. yes, winner again.

regards.

Amazing mood here Nilanjan - those diagonal streaks, posture of the mother and baby with wet raised hairs makes it very unique. You have a nice candidate for B&W for next year's BBC contest..
