The dynamic pine
I did a deliberate vertical motion blur on the interesting light on this pine stand in Finland.

Hi VMR,
There's a dreamy quality about the image. Bottom part looks a bit dark or is it my monitor? But the real cake is in the color and it's delicious.
Thanks for sharing

Complimenting colors of Sky and light on Pines is the key to this image. Great effect here.

hi vmr, i've come back to this image many times before commenting. brilliant shades, simply breathtaking. the blue and warm-ochre combination is really stunning ~ the blur gives the feeling of passionate brush-strokes.

love it :)

WOW wonderful image. It got contemporary written all over it! The light holds the image together wonderfully.

Loved this one sir, the blue and the light falling on the trees makes it magical.
I also did try this once, I have posted one shot in CNP, I like yours much better.
I feel using a tripod to restrict the horizontal movement while trying to move the camera vertically would enhance such images.

This is a fabulous image. One thing I would like to suggest is to crop the 1/3 bottom part of the frame to emphasize more on the composition. Brilliant light and good controlled motion here.

fantastic feel of the vivid vertical blurs, vmr. like the contrast of warm 'n cool tones, and converging play of light 'n shadows on the floor.

regards.
