Unique patterns
Nature always surprises me with its unique patterns. It took me a while to figure out what was this. How is it possible for something to eat the leave in such manner, creating this amazing pattern. Would like to hear your comments and theories about this.

Beauty of B&W ! I guess color wouldn't have worked as much, right ?

Ganesh H Shankar: YES. The texture of leaf and the light at the edge of the pattern ( Holes resulted by insect foraging) was getting depressed in color version. In B&W it is clearly visible. This is the main reason why I converted it to B&W.

Wonderful image. Liked the gradation from left to right. Wish the DOF could be even better for a clearer definition.
