I was shooting long exposures of a young mangrove plantation, the scene was quite, the patterns were fantastic and a gentle breeze ruffled them a bit.

lovely sir… the vertical patterns with that slight ripples in water makes this image interesting..and of course the illusion created by the shutter speed…cheers !!

Excellent image VMR, probably suits the other gallery (art) better. I think B&W rendition added a lot!

Very evocative indeed. Having waded though a mangrove a few months ago (in Devbagh), the impression resonates perfectly. The effect of wind gives it an impression of a charcoal sketch.

Beautiful image. Love the repetitive patterns in the shot. The caption is also very apt for the way the image has been portrayed.
