Several good titles there. Few that I have found useful:

Light: Science & Magic by Fil Hunter, Steve Biver, Paul Fuqua
Creative Nature and Outdoor Photography by Brenda Tharp
The Negative by Ansel Adams

A few of us were talking elephant stories and this book is a MUST READ:

Lord of the Grassland - Nirmal Ghosh

flipkart used to carry it, seems like not any more. Writing directly to Ghosh (above) might be the easiest way for now.
