Incorrect number of views

Each time someone comments on an image, the poster opens it out of curiousity to read the comment among many other reasons .

The views by a poster should not be counted. Can this feature be implemented?

This is a known issue (see the known issues thread). We may not have time to work on this one soon since there are other higher priority
functional ideas which we would like to close first.
