Came across this interesting discussion about blur in photography on Quora

https://www.quora.com/Can-a-blur-in-a-photo-be-good

Interesting to see different perspectives for the concept or "blur"

Apart from the science of blurring in photography, there is there a deeper layer of existential blurring when we get focused on some ideation, thought or ambition. When anything out of them becomes dominated over us the rest everything gets blurred and out of focus from our consciousness. This is the science of our biology and psychology. This has a deeper meaning as well- when we get focused to the ultimate salvation or truth, the whole world becomes mere 'sansar'- blurred....! Blurriness is a dream- appears very beautiful just like in photography. But it has a tremendous value- where to get focused and what to make blurred. Out of it, we can give a birth to our creation...!
