Photography has been Shankar's second nature. Shankar was born and brought-up in Small town called Ilkal in northern part of Karnataka State.Shankar is glad that He inherited this beautiful art from his father who was equally passionate about photography. When Shankar's grand parents were meeting ends to live, Shankar's father was adamant on buying an TLR camera during his college days. His hunger strike rewarded him with Rolleicord TLR camera. Shankar learnt Photography from Rolleicord and His father taught Him the combination of aperture and Shutter speed. Rolleicord TLR Camera still works perfectly which is 50+ years old.
Shankar is an Electronics engineer by profession and since His college days Shankar shot whatever that appeared artistic to Him. In the year 2000 He got heavily influenced by the wildlife photography and took it very seriously. That was the first time He ever invested on photo equipments on his own.
To Shankar, photography is creative and rejuvenating. He does it for the pleasure of satisfaction that he draws from it and and he loves to share the joy with others.
