About CNP


Every day we see so many beautiful, technically perfect images in so many nature photography forums. In such diversity, how many images that we see have a lasting impact on us? How many of such images stay in our memory forever? The very purpose which we hope CNP will serve is to question status-quo in nature photography, to challenge every nature photographer to think out of the box. Our posting guidelines will clarify this message further. Though there are a few nature forums focussed on creative aspects of nature photography most of them promote digital art using extensive editing (predominantly digital darkroom creativity). CNP will emphasize on creating and sharing unique perspectives wherein all aspects of making an image is taken care before pressing the shutter release - nothing is added or removed from the frame digitally.

We, the editorial staff of CNP think the success of CNP will depend upon honest attempts by its members who post and critique here in furthering the visions behind Creative Nature Photography(CNP).

CNP is a non-commercial forum run by a small group of passionate nature photographers - most of them are weekend warriors.
