  • My mother and I had gone to a park yesterday. As soon as we entered the park we saw a tent spider in its web on a plant. I spent most of my time on this and got a few good images. I will be sharing them in the coming days. Regards Vihaan
    		 Today my father and I had gone birdwatching at Mavathur lake near Kanakpura. There, on a tree we spotted two spotted owlets. While others in the group had gone ahead to see other birds and returned and left we were still photographing these owls. The title is 'Introducing to the wild' because I felt the tree branch that the owl was sitting looks like a human hand carrying the owlet around introducing it to the wild. In this picture the owlet is staring curiously at its first tree. ;) Regards Vihaan

    This was taken at Belvai butterfly meet. One morning another member and me went to check on a southern birdwing pupa. Nearby we spotted this wide band grass dart sitting on a blade of grass. The title is 'The Mountaineer' as I feel that the blade of grass is a mountain and the skipper is is the mountaineer trying to climb it. Regards Vihaan
    		 This was taken at Someshwar wildlife sanctuary during the Belvai Butterfly Meet. This Red Helen was roaming around nectaring. I got this shot just when the butterfly left one flower and was going to another. The title is 'Attraction' because I feel the butterfly stands out from the background and catches the eye and also the butterfly gets attracted to the flowers. Regards Vihaan

    This image was taken at Himachal Pradesh near kibber village. This blue sheep was standing alone on a cliff with perfect lighting on it. The title is 'Lonely' because I feel that the lone blue sheep was feeling lonely
    		 This image was taken at Bannerghatta national park in the month of May. These two lacewing eggs were on a tree trunk nearby to the entrance. Regards Vihaan
    		 I found this cicada at the farm. The rains had just stopped and I was roaming around with my camera. At one time I spotted this cicada exoskeleton with a raindrop on it. The title is 'Dead in the alive' as I feel the exoskeleton is lifeless in the greens all around. #Cnplifecycle Regards Vihaan

    We had gone to Himachal Pradesh in the month of April and we visited many places. I took mostly landscape photos, but when we stumbled upon these Himalayan Ibexes, I mounted my 70-300mm lens and captured a lot of images. The shivering cold temperatures and my freezing hands made it harder to photograph other than the lens which did not have the Image Stabiliser mode. Regards Vihaan
    		 These Lacewing eggs were on the net of my balcony. I was capturing images while an ant passed by. It made a short stop near these eggs and went on with its business Regards Vihaan

    This image was taken at Ahmedabad of the rosy starling murmuration. I titled it 'starling Invasion' as I felt that the starlings were attacking the city and taking over like an alien invasion. Regards Vihaan
    		 This image was taken when we went to shoot Sarus cranes in the morning with Pratik aNNa, Sitaram aNNa, Ashok uncle and Umashankar uncle. I titled it 'Not interested' because i feel that the parents are performing to impress the child but unfortunately, the child is not interested and turned its head. Thanks Vihaan
    		 This image is a flock of Demoiselle cranes on the first day of the cnp meet. the title is 'Babies and Adults' because i feel that the flying ones are adults rushing to work and the siting ones are babies relaxing no need to rush to school or office. Regards Vihaan

    This is an image of a rosy starling murmuration. This was taken from a old building near the Ahmedabad railway station after the cnp meet. The shutter speed was 1/6 to get this effect. The title is 'Connection' because I feel that the middle part birds are joining the other flocks. Thanks Vihaan
    		 This image was taken on the first day evening of the cnp meet when we visited a lake where many Demoiselle cranes were there. There were many weeds near the bank and I captured this image when some of the cranes were flying. I enjoyed the meet a lot, made new friends and learnt a lot. Thanks Vihaan
    		 This Image was taken at a hill near my farm. Up the hill there was a view of other hills close by and a vast forest. The title is ‘Odd one out’ as there are green forests and green hills nearby but this branch has no leaves at all. Thanks Vihaan

    This image was taken at my farm. These spiderlings were sitting on the web quietly. There was a leaf behind the web which I positioned to the sunlight to make it glow. The title is 'attraction' because I feel that, out of curiosity the spiderlings were getting attracted towards the glowing leaf. Thanks Vihaan

    		 When we went to Varahi backwater view point they were large group of tadpoles forming different formations. The title is 'Power of youth' because I feel they are young yet so smart and make different formations. I have taken many images and will upload them in the coming days.     This is image was taken at my farm. This flower was hanging from a plant from a web strand. The title is 'ಓಲೆ back view ' because i feel that the flower looks like a back view of an ear stud. Thanks Vihaan

    		 This image was also taken Nalluru. There was a old temple which had beautiful carvings of mostly Krishna. Near a Krishna sculpture there was a ornamental tree trunk spider. I took my father's camera and set it up on a tripod. The camera had a 15mm macro lens. I took 222 images while only a few came out good. The title is 'Audience' because I feel that Krishna is playing the flute and the spider is listening. :D I used his camera for the rest of the day until the battery got dead. 8-) Thanks Vihaan

    This image was taken in Nalluru. Ganesh uncle, Raviprakash uncle, Vidyun, my father and I went there as a trip. The title is friend or foe because I do not know what eggs are these and what type of fly is this. So, it could be its own species or another species. :D If you know which species are these please let me know. Thanks Vihaan

    This image was taken at Gadisar lake in Jaisalmer. This king fisher was sitting on wire and the background is a flock of swifts\swallows. For me it looks like the kingfisher is the king and the swifts\swallows are the soldiers and the trees is a palace where they live. Thanks Vihaan

    		 This image was taken with Vidyun. My father had rented a 150-600mm lens and i used it all daylong in jayamangali black buck sanctury. (It was very heavy so all of the images were a bit shaken :D )

    Help! cries the tree. The tornado pulling everything towards it! This image was taken near Chandravalli cave, Chitradurga. There was a nursury nearby. I was trying images of zoomburst and camera movements and i got this image. Thanks Vihaan
    		 When me and my family when to Chitradurga fort, in the temple Sampige Siddheshwara i spotted this monkey eating leaves and i positioned myself so that the branch would come on top of its head. Thanks Vihaan

    This image was taken with Vidyun. This leaf cutter ant was stuck on another leaf and was trying hard to escape and finally came up with the help of friends.
    		 This image was taken at the farm. When i went inside the farm with my mother in the evening i saw this leaf highlighted with the sunlight. It looked good to caputure an image with light and shadow. For me it looked like an open book having stories about light and shadow. Thanks Vihaan
    		 This image was taken at Ankasamudra, Hampi. There are two groups of racers - large(cormorants) and small(birds in distance). Each group race from the opposite sides to avoid blocking the other group. Thanks Vihaan

    This image is taken on the banks of Kaveri river, Kanakpuara. There i had fun chatting with Ganesh uncle, Rajkumar uncle, RD uncle and Ravipraksh uncle and i learnt a lot from them. In the evening we set off to the banks of Kaveri river to take photos. While returning Ganesh uncle spotted this dead insect on the leaf. The title is "pointing" because i think the leaf in the upper right corner is pointing towards the insect. :)
    		 These leaves were hanging on a spider's web. Me and my father were taking images of a golden orb weaver while i spotted these leaves. Thanks Vihaan

    Unlike a black hole which pulls everything towards it(even light), the white hole is emitting colours from it.

    I took this image in a park nearby with Raviprakash uncle, my father and Vidyun. I liked the background colours and the design on the grasshopper.
    		 This osprey was sitting on a tree near a pond.
    		 Happy Independence Day!!! This image of the national bird of India was taken at Bhadra Tiger Reserve while going on a jeep safari in the morning. I liked the peacock sitting on a fallen tree and the water as the background and greenery all around.

    		 This is a millipede and i found it in my farm. I took this image when it had curled up and the water droplets are rain drops.
    		 This is a mountain and i twisted the camera to take this image. I liked the circular motion effect on the mountain.

    This is a pepper leaf with a web strand at the bottom. I liked that the morning light was falling only on one part of the leaf and everything else was dark

    I was trying different perspectives with this rose bud and i liked the composition with the sky and the clouds and black and white looked appealing to me.

    I found this signature spider in our apartment garden while i was walking with my father. I converted this image to black and white because i wanted the signature to look prominent.

    This is a young leaf of a jasmine plant and the background is a pot painted with tulips.
    		 I found this leaf when I was searching things to photograph. I thought it would be interesting to take a subject light and shade falling on it.
    		 This is a jasmine plant. The title is 'Waiting to catch' because it looks like a cup waiting to catch an insect.
