Hi,
Here is a diptych image of Sun and Moon... While Choosing the Title, Several Thoughts triggered. "Seasons of Day", "Seasons of Life", "Life" , "Walk of Life" etc... For me, some of these titles may pull the viewers imagination into negativity (Seasons of life, Life, Walk of Life) or it may pull the memories of past. With the similar thoughts, the imagination of viewer I wanted to divert. Here, Walk of Sun, is when the Sun's energy being spread across, over the horizon, everywhere and in the other part, still traces of Sun exists, but they are not pronounced. They are pronounced with darkness, but the glow is still the Sun's energy.

I dont know this is my thought. if it doesn't fit, I would appreciate the viewer, who can shed some light on this.

Thank you Viewer.

Hi All... After the long break, I held the camera and this time the chosen subject is the tree and its branches.. I call the structure as "VIKAARA" means the abruptly depicted or the structure less... (Or there may be, view being wrong in one sense, it is a structured in its own, but failing viewer)...

I would like to hear back your views... Thanks for your clicks and suggestions...

    Hi all,
Am adding one more image to the Triptych series... In this image, the concept is "From Darkness to the Light"... Inspiration is, thousands year old Sanskrit prayer...

Also, I have composed few more images with the same concept, (A black and white version: Balck and White and another compose Leading from Dark ) but, the one posted here found interesting, surely I would seek the suggestions, views, teachings from members..

Thanks,

Path of a Light... On egrets

Ganesh Sir... Reposting this image again removing the old... This time the post processing I tried to follow a different way, where I chose the Curves from the GIMP and made sure that the mid-range the curve is flat and the lower-ranges (Shadows) I bumped the curve and on the higher-ranges (highlights) I brought the curve down. It looked to me an inverted S (Not to scale) where the midrange being flat. In my earlier image, I tried to crop few pixels on the left and bottom edge, and while PP'ing the GIMP gave some strange error, dint notice while posting. Those little triangles on left and bottom edge.

I like to hear from Ganesh Sir and from other members. Thanks for clicks and views.

An inverted image of a Bird and a stone... Why the inversion?

The reflection of bird and the stone together made the skull and hand like structure... which resembled to me like a person who is doing some yoga or meditation...

Am now know that you know why the rotation is... Suggestion and improvements please pass me on...

Thanks,

    Hi there...

Here is an other theme based photo. This photo was shot at a place where the heavy industrial waste was dumped and burnt. These egrets were feeding nearby, but as the fumes started reaching up the sky and the region soon covered with thick black smoke. And the egrets flew and started to disappear from the place... I had tried to focus the birds but couldnt get the very sharp one too... So named blurred future... Hope this wold will be a better place to live for all...

Thanks for your views and suggestions.

Raghu

    Hi all,

Back with an other image.... This time I tried something different... The Creep... from heaven... 8-) ... Well, the title attached to it is for its structure, the leaves are like ladders (not to scale ;) ) and the flowers (buds) are like hands (like a gloved hands, not all but major)... So the derivation.... I will hear back from you... with your views as always... Thanks for click and expressing views...

Though am amateur I try to participate in one of the form... ;).. I like to learn... Most welcome for your critical suggestions...

Well, here is a new experimental shot from my new Nikon AF 50 mm f/1.8 lens... with a macro mount on it... I named this as Living on the edge as it was the blade of the leaf where tiny pearls of dew settled early in the morning... I feel it needs more brightness, but it looked okay without too... Like an abstract...

I want to hear from most of you... Thanks for your views and suggestions...

Here an image from my archives... It was sun setting down, I watched staring at it and it went slowly down and the color faded, darkness all around... The whole scene looked as if am starring at a big canvas un-imaginably big and the art is presented from the artist..

Hope the title fits... End of Presence, Hope of future... [I really felt absent, and then after the set, a hope to see such scene in future]

Your Comments and views are most welcome...

    Hi All,
Here is an image which I have flipped vertically to convey some message. If it doesn't fit, I would go and wipe off this post from the forum... And it is not the perfect image in terms of the tonal ranges from edge to edge.. (Anything cant be perfect, it can be perception, may be sometime failing to please many, then the image is a fall ;) )

A social cause... I have absolutely no-idea on how the mind can think about this... but in a corner, if you have similar thoughts pop, please share.

Well, what is the social cause? and why the title?

I am trying to convey some message on the social cause, the "alcohol addiction".

When I inverted the image my mind ran into several way...

   1. The background of the image looked like a wine glass.
   2. The glass filled with a liquid.
   3. The fall of the bird (inverted, so the fall), and its reflection is the Social identity (of the addict).
   4. The blurred reflection, means the social fall of an addict.

Probably some of you may laugh at the reason or the context may not fit... Am Sorry about that...

Thanks for your views and comments.

Please note, am sorry, if am hurting the feelings of anyone...

Thanks,
Raghu

In this image was more oriented towards the baby pelican's Eye which overlooks for its future, looking at the fading evening sun. The gift of nail which nature had given to its beak, the skin sag its beautiful wrinkles which are then reserved for the prey. The title is just meant for her eye... Hope it interests you.

Well, I don't know if this image is a fit. But, It has its own creative perspective of bent trunk, tusk and the rest behemoth. (And was heavily inspired by another photography from one of the famous photographer, not recollecting from my archived memory :) )

And who don't like the Tusker, a beautiful creature? Am adding one more of this kind. It is not the shot which came straight out from the professional camera, but an ordinary digital. So don't know if the lighting works well here and all other stuffs. The image was shot at the K-Gudi of Karnataka (A diversion near BR Hills, Kollegal, Karnataka).

I appreciate your views and comments on it.

    Hi,
This is an image, shot at a shore, where this nice creature was just soaked by salty water and propelled by a nice wave.

While choosing the title, many of them went through mind, like a Reflection or Piercing heart (when tilted by 90 Degrees) or Salty cone... The one most interested me was Salty cone... because of its structure, which just resembled like a Ice-cream-cone... But, it is not... It is a gift of nature, a sea creature, and just comparing to a man made creature Cone... Why Cone(S).? One is Real and other is imaginary. (or Imaginary)

Probably more light to it have added, but am just leaving it to the artist to criticize.

Hope, it interests some of you. Thanks for all your views and Comments are most welcome.

Thanks,
Raghu

    Hi,
I sometime fascinated with the minute things in nature and tend to post something similar, sorry about that. Here is an image of a flower (flower of Touch me not plant), not macro though. Initially while choosing the title, I thought of the name Blast, but another name triggered that is Retina or Eye.. Hope it interests.

Your views, suggestions are appreciated.

Raghu

This image was from the western ghats of Karnataka. Shot somewhere in-between Dandeli, Joyda taluk. When the image was shot, there was a single fern leaf emerging out from the ground. This imagination of Ancient India was flashed when I looked through, the center portion a valley or Vidhya mountain range and rest of the Glorified india.

And I had burnt the image's shadow region and cropped all the way.

I really appreciate your suggestions and views.

Thanks,
Raghu

Here is an image of Seashells on the shore. Hope it fits and interests some of you.

Image is desaturated and cropped left, right. Probably few pixel crop at the bottom would have added. But, to have the blur at the top and the bottom of the frame it is retained. I am not sure if it works. Well, your suggestions and comments are awaited.

Before describing the image. The CNP without Pro's was a desert, last few days many of the CNP members were out for expedition, exchange of ideas and all had wonderful time. But back in the forum, though some of them are available, there were very few posts or there were no visits to the forum. :(

In short, It was a feeling of the missing CNP gods. :)

Here is an image which am dedicating to all the members of CNP who are guiding me with their suggestions and criticizing where it is really needed.

This image resemble like a pattern or a paint daub. It is definitely a pattern out from the nature and these are the floating Algae and dead leaves and more to it are the nature. This image was shot at Kukkarahalli lake of mysore.

Thanks for clicking and your suggestions and views are highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Raghu

Here is an image of a flower and all of its beauty. I have no idea on whether the title is appropriate to this. I have chosen this because the center stigma is surrounded by many of the filaments of flower (Its true I read the anatomy of flower :) ). May not be great but an angle through your monitor you may like it, it is just my view.

Thanks all for your clicks, views and suggestions.

Heron inside a thorn shrub waiting for the pray to come out. I have tried to desaturate and burn the image.
And
The title is chosen, as the birds blocked expression on the face. This image was shot at the Uttanahalli lake, Mysore.

As always advices and guidance are most welcome.

Here is a picture of Dead wood, which stands still posing to the elements of nature and surviving in its own way and shows up the pride once it possessed.

I have tried to desaturate and negate the picture here. The Photo was shot on the way to K.Gudi, diverting near BR Hills of Karnataka.

Your valuable suggestions and visions are most welcome.

Thanks - Raghu

Here is an un-cropped, downsized photo, shot at BR Hills, Karnataka. I have added some border around using GIMP and have increased the contrast.

In this the moon was showing up in the morning and sucked sap tree branch. Probably a crop on the left side to cut more sky would have had a good look. But, before that I would seek the comment and advice's from members.

Here I tried to convert a colored macro image of a flower which usually flourishes during the pre-monsoon
around the western ghat world. A shoot on the ground will have a bunch of flower, each with a white petal
and a yellow line on it. If you carefully look through the flower, there is an interesting fact, the tiny
shoots inside the flower resemble just like a country bull or a cow.

Comments on image are most welcome.

Thanks - Raghu
