Man in nature
It was completely misty & cloudy at around 4pm after the rains at Kodachadri peak. I was hoping that clouds would clear up before the sunset. While waiting for clouds to clear up I saw huge avalanche of clouds coming up (Yes, we were above the clouds). Right at this point it seemed as though it would engulf the couple who were sitting on the edge to watch the sunset. At this point I felt the size of man vs nature. I have tried to portray the same in this image. Let me know your thoughts.

Wonderful composition Gautham. My thoughts were to crop a bit from the bottom and to enhance the clouds effects.

Excellent image Gautham - I like this a lot. You have beautifully played with size here - lovely composition too. To me an interesting learning here is how a thin layer of bright sky on the top changed the appeal of the image. Without that you won't be able to convey the scale effectively and might have weakened image drastically. Thanks for sharing.

Very interesting Gautham you really cut down man to size, the silhoutte pose and the composition work very well here, I am now beginning to see that linking nature with man brings in a new element of aura in a nature image.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Ganesh - I agree the top layer of clouds is what made the scale to look effective. I have another composition where the top layer is removed but I liked this one for the impact.
