Shiv, my view is it is not about creativity for the sake of creativity. It is about getting rid of unconscious copying (of others) which we acquired over years. If that goes, we will be left with only our own creative visions!!!

To get into "a" signature is burden,
The "burden" of making the signature,
To get out of "a" signature is a burden,
The "burden" of making "creative"

That said, I understand it as a burden. But should one feel it or enjoy it?
When burden is enjoyed, journey is not burdened.

Shiv, I think RD has put it aptly in few words. If creativity, or anything for that matter, is a burden then why would anyone do it. I believe its the expectation that is a burden or forcefully doing something which we don't like is a burden.

Prashanth

Even i ponder about this question (as you already know). If i may try to answer "What are your thoughts on creating something for sake of creating", i would like to think myself as a cook. If I prepare something for the sake of cooking a new dish, most likely it will not taste good (even to myself). Sure its unique, but lacks taste. However, if the focus is on cooking something delicious and new, i may fail at first but over a period of time i will succeed.
