Very beautiful image. The bird in the left looks like flower bud in that plant.And I totally agree with you . Along with that absence of catch light ( A rare thing in your images) makes the image more interesting and artistic to my eyes. (It is interesting to note that the high key BG looks dull with the white BG of CNP.)

This is a lovely image. it has a feel of japanese and chinese paintings which have rich contrasts against white backgrounds. The moment of anticipation is also very precisely captured and focussed; a hallmark of your images!! The activity here makes my heart aflutter!!
