Pond heron
It appeared as if pond heron is appreciating graphic nature of the plants :)

Of late I have been trying some high key images. I think it offers similar opportunities like clean bg kind of images but not explored much. May be lots of it again are personal preferences. Love to know your thoughts on high key images..

What a wonderful vision this is. Love the artistic Ipomea carnea, surprisingly the plant is called 'Besharam';shameless in Hindi. The placement of the Heron is perfect. Very unique expression here. Maybe some work with WB could be some different moods as well.

" A moment in time" . That is the title that came to my mind when I saw this image. I have always felt with reduced contrast the impact when working with high key images might be high. Thanks for sharing Ganesh.

Right from the first moment I saw this image on your site, I fell for it! Fantastic visualisation. The shape of the plant is very graphic and the high key adds a lot to the impact. I only wish that the small portion of the shore were absent and the water was a bit clean, without those grass shoots, either of which were out of your control! ;-) very nice one here! Thanks for sharing...

A very unique moment captured Ganesh. A hint of morning light in the background adds to the overall feel ! Thanks, Raj.

Ganesh,
In the last 10 years are so we have done so many experiments on a high key.
Sometimes it feels we haven't grown a bit and then again when we look back so much we have covered!!!

I like this image even now because of its graphical quality, simplicity.

How would you treat this scene now?

Adithya, I too kind of like it, for its graphic qualities. But then that's it! It was rated the at (7.33) which is a bit high for my current judgement :)
