Light
Sensors in camera can't reproduce range of light our eyes perceive. It is a joy to see when a camera/sensor can resolve the very nuances of the light to a greater degree. As of now it is the realm of large sensors not reachable by 35mm as I see it. It is getting better though. Traditionally mega pixel race is what people are interested in which only part of the equation. Clean, high fidelity tonal range is what is responsible for the subtle nuances of light but difficult to articulate. Those who make/made prints in the wet room understand this far better..

Liked how the lit part is unscathed while shadow region shows hand of man! Will come back to this many times to understand tonal variations/transitions. TFS
