Awesome. Amazing that this is the back side of mushroom. Cropping out the top part and retaining only the labyrinth might enhance the feel even more. Reminds of MC escher maze painting. Thanks for sharing Ramesh.

Aahh... nature's labyrinth! Somehow reminds me of the window patterns in some of the forts in Jaisalmer!! I have an almost identical frame btw :)

Thanks, Mahesh, Ganesh, Raj and Kiran. For the technically bent, this is a focus stack of 50 images...

Mahesh, I included the radiated gills in this frame so that they give a relief to the viewers eyes. I have a closeup of only the internal gills and will share that separately.

The patterns are so intriguing here, Ramesh. I was about to say how did you achieve such depth in this macro when I read that it is stack of 50 images !
