When history meets present...
Nature is a presentation of abstract beauty and surprising aesthetics which brings wings to our imagination, thus many of are are attracted to the forest rather than civilised way of city life. It is sometimes so beautifully powerful that can enhance the beauty of carved rocks, and gives life to these statues made some hundreds years ago.

With reference to Ganesh's image, I made few images during my stay at Adity's place (Thanks Aditya for this). He took to Kavalidurga fort for trek and what a great time we had enjoying full monsoon moods in western ghats where somehow I managed to click few images.

forgiving nature - the stone statue which was violently created many hundred years ago seems to be getting accepted back to nature. Nature forgivingly even provided a decorative headpiece :)

Art is about what is inside rather than what is outside

Loving how the leaves are getting superimposed on the statue. Gives a very decorative feel overall.

A fine image Saurabh! I will go there next time :) Agree with Mahesh. Both aesthetic and philosophical. Philosophical at multiple levels. On one hand it is a journey into past on the other hand, give it some time nature will overwrite on our creations.
