Don't you visualize a little bit of appearance of the details may enhance the richness of the habitat in particular and ambiance in general?......Wouldn't harsh contrast here make the image flat ?.....

Thanks Ghanshyam and Adithya for your views. I agree with you on more details on the elephants, but it was too difficult to get the details because of the harsh light. Here I was trying to showcase the golden strip of the river which brings these elephants to the open space in harsh summer months.
