Tones in Nature

Tones in Nature
I think faithfully reproducing what nature can offer needs immense creativity from our part! With that I hope I am not going back. It may appear so, however, all these years of learning has always been a spiral, not circle.

If you are on a large calibrated display (>1800 pixels) you may be able to appreciate play of tones. The image has tonal ranges from zone 0 to zone 9.

At first it looked like a simple image of a mountain. But when I looked carefully amazed to see the tonal ranges.

Between, what are those dust like spots on the middle and lower left side of the frame?

Ganesh, good spread of tones. As for presentation, I felt the rock formations can be worked on further to give them a sense of light and contrast on them. That suggestion is albeit your aim of faithful reproduction. Further, I noticed circular banding in the darker areas of the top right corner. Probably JPEG artifacts. Please check...

Great tones again, Ganesh.
Both Adithya and Ramesh have pointed out the artifacts to work on.

Simple yet amazing spread of tonal values, Ganesh. Agree on those artifacts that may need technical correction.
