Hunters
A fox is sneaking by. I like foxes. In some ways we are the very same, both are out early in the morning and hoping for finding something. The difference is: The fox is searching for something to eat, but do I really know what I am searching for?

A fine image Anders. I love the mystery created due to subtle lighting here. The black band on the left adds a lot and so is the hint of movement of the fox. Your question,

but do I really know what I am searching for

appears to culminate in philosophy! Probably the next question there is “Who am I?”

Love the sense of voyeurism ( through the black trunk at left ) it inherently possesses and how the blurred fox creates effect of mystery around it.

I liked how you have kept space in the lower portion of the frame. I would be very tempted to crop that and make the image more rectangle.
However the square crop is adding so much to the 'raw'ness of the image.

but do I really know what I am searching for?

This probably explains the "carelessness' attitude that I see in the image (from the photographer, in a positive way)
Probably a far deeper question to ponder over.

Very nice image Anders. Loved that thick tail. Mysterious and tantalising capture. As to the your question, most of the members here can relate to it, but I think only few know the answer.
