Water - A Portrait
A tiny "water hole" feeds many small insects in a jungle. This is a very high resolution image, very carefully made. Texture and veins of every leaf has been carefully rendered. The designs in every square mm of Nature are very magnificent, if we care to see. To fit within 2MB posting limit I had to aggressively compress. You may see the higher resolution image here. You may touch those leaves, if you care!!

To us, it's a miniature to be zoomed into and to be observed. But for the inhabitants, a fully contained universe. An all-encompassing microcosm. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see the details in the bigger file. Higher resolution also makes the complexities and curves/corners of the structures more obvious and easy to appreciate. The paper/print will further add to our experience texture-wise.

Thanks
