Appears more than 'banal' Raj! May be due to contrast/texture on the tree barks.

That is the paradox Ganesh. It is "Banal" till our "gaze" falls on it and then take a picture that very act sought of transports it

Afterthought: Of course nothing is 'Banal' in nature. Everything has a place and reason for its existence whether we see beauty in it or not. At the same time, the fact remains that we select something and point our camera towards it. This is in exclusion of other things that we have considered not 'pleasant, beautiful, share-worthy ' If we see a lot of slugs and one snail there is a very good chance that the snail gets photographed and not the slugs !!! So there exists in the 'Camera Pointers' mind some logic for discretion. That may change over time but a definition will exist. Thoughts?

PS: If I am right there are no slug pictures in CNP. Leech maybe like an elephant trunk that we see beauty in but no slug....Correct me if I am the wrong :D :D
Sorry, I am wrong I have posted one myself I remembered now !!!!! :D

Beautiful greyscale and and well chosen contrast. I like how tree in the the upper part is dark on a light background v/s the lower part is light on a dark background.
