So beautiful! A wonder made image, with the stars as background, and a wonderful phenomenon.

What is so special with this tree, why was this tree chosen?

A dream creation !! Everything has worked well, the stars, the fireflies,... TFS

Hmm, amazing. I am wondering how would it feel to stand in front of the tree and witness this marvelous phenomenon! Thanks for sharing. You may gently reduce the brightness I guess..

Wishing you best light,

Many years ago I had dreamt of an image.. a lonely tree ontop of a hillock with countless fireflies circling around and in the background there is milky way galaxy.. This image comes very close to that. Just fantastic. TFS and Congrats.

Amazing scene.

This could have been better with better processing I guess.
Fewer details in the sky, less light in the sky would have added I guess.
A horizontal image with more surrounding trees and less of the sky would have also look good I guess.

You should definitely process it again, for me, this is a fine scene spolied by processing if I can say so.

Incredible meet of all the interesting happenings!, Saurabh.
Agree with Adithya on PP, but then it would be a different image!
If single exposure then execution is certainly laudable!

Thank you for the valuable inputs everyone.

Andres this is Terminalia arjuna tree commonly found in the forest of Dang (gujarat state). I don't know the proper scientific reason but according to locals this is the host plant of fireflies in this region.

Ganseh sir, Adithya now I also admit the brightness of sky is killing the actual glow of fireflies. But I confess I am very poor at the sense and skill of post processing. I will definitely try to reprocess with the path shown by you.

Nevil Sir no doubt this particular tree was really incredible and here first almighty gods creation is definitely laudable. Monsoon helped me here, this is bunch of five images. for the certain time I got clouds in the sky and I managed to take four images and then after suddenly clouds vanished and the result is here. I don't know weather this could be appreciated of not but I thought this wonderful phenomenon should be definitely share among all of us.

Thank you :)

Everything has been already said. I too agree on processing part. But... Hey... What a moment to witness. Absolutely brilliant. This image has great potential if you are bit careful while processing. TFS
