Nice! Are those bees? Or birds? Or?

Commentby Nevil Zaveri on Tue Sep 14, 2021 7:58 pm

Yes, asking the same, Madhav.
Probably a large size or a subtle clue may help decode / enrich further.

Thank you Sacha and Nevil. It is a swarm of bees. It suddenly passed over my head, i could get only 2 frames. To be honest, there was no thought behind the image, but it fits the monthly theme well!

I can hear the buzzing noise Madhav. Pattern is amazing. By the way, this fits the other theme proposed by Nevil too.. Infinity :)

It doesn't really matter what the subject is. The uniformal spread of those 'noise' is making it special. TFS

Thank you Prashanth and Ravi!

The swarms are tightly packed, yet somehow they manage not to collide with each other. This holds true for bird formations and fish too. How fascinating! We struggle to drive in 2D, imagine this.

Very true Madhav. With their lifespan being few months to few years they won't have time to learn about traffic sense. Probably that's why they can manage.

Prashanth

Excellent image, Madhav. I don't want to see any detail here, just those tiny circles/dots spreading uniformly over a canvas would suffice.

I have a few similar photographs, titled "TRAFFIC" , one with bees, another with mosquitos, and another with kites. however mine were taken at even further a distance.

Thank you Ganesh, Vikram!

@Sacha: I have seen huge columns of mosquitos by the lake side at dusk. Scary yet intriguing. Your images must be very interesting, please post them here.

Buzz... Runnn! Haha.. they get me every time. A frame fully packed with bees is really something to think about and shoot. Great one!
