amazingly more or else the exact imagination I was getting when we were talking yesterday Ganesh. A wonderful melancholy mood for me with the low value grayish tones. Works very well

Some more objects) in the frame to emphasize the tilt-shift effect ( and thus telling more about the story) would be better? Just curious.

Before opening the image I knew this had to be from you. The bnw treatment along with windy feel on the reeds and the placement of egret works well. Thanks for sharing.
The selective focus was achieved in post or with a lens? just curious.

Sarthak, selective focus is achieved with a tilt-shift lens with about 8 degree tilt. The lens I used is Schneider Kreuznach 120mm f/5.6 Tilt-Shift on my medium format Phase One XF body if that helps.

A very fine tuning. The dark and the unsharpness give the mood.
(White birds are very photogenic!)

The opposite movement of the reeds & egret is fantastic, in-fact that makes the image for me and of-course the tilt & shift effect makes it a symphony
