Stigma - a perspective
This is another image I made while looking at the flower for a long time. I found the shadow cast on the flower itself by strong light interesting. Love to know your thoughts..

Sometimes when I see images like this I wonder whether creative people are 'Ulta Khopdi' (Inverted mind). I don't mind being called so as long as the results are like this. This is a Trivedi Ashvin pointed out something we see everyday and walk away.

To me this is a top class image and little extra DoF would have added more impact. It's all about way of looking at things around us.

Very creative one here Ganesh! Liked the feel of the image. The way the shadow starts at he top right of the frame and the way it extends is giving a different feel to the image. Agree with Shankar on slightly more DoF...

Rendering the reflection and handling the contrast is not as easy as it might seem or evident in the image!! I like this image a lot Ganesh. A larger version would really look stunning!!

Fantastic thinking here, Ganesh. Some of us can hardly think of such out-of-the-box creations but even the seldom times that we can, we find that execution is often as difficult as visualisation, but what sets you apart from the rest is your phenomenal ability to execute perfectly what you visualise. I love this image. The texture of the flower looks more like that of cloth, perhaps a napkin!

amazing visualization again, Ganesh! Each shot of yours is inspiring.

Btw, I would have preferred either a bit more DOF or the whole frame to be in out of focus. The thin strand of DOF doesn't add much in this shot, I feel.. I could be totally wrong though..
