Darkness - Repost
Sorry for the repetition, but I have worked on this image to underemphasis on the trees a little bit more, based on the feedback from Ganesh. Making this image wasnt easy as I was dealing with the strong lights from a nearby Sodium vapor lamp which was lighting up the trees. But the light from the milky way itself was very faint and this meant I had to keep a very long exposure, resulting in the trees turning out brighter than required. I have reduced the color temperature here to render the sky much bluer than the earlier version and have cloned out a few bright spots on the Sodium vapor lit tree.
The location itself was interesting as the milky way was running right in the gaps created by the opening in the foliage, and it was giving me an opportunity to try out one of my earlier preconceived shots, of showcasing the stars through the gaps created in the tree's foliage. This gap in the foliage, to me, binds the gap between the celestial and terrestrial worlds. I have tried out various compositions and would share them over time.

Thanks again for looking.

No Ganesh, unfortunately this is the best of the series I tried that night. The ambient light from the nearby street lights was washing away most of the visibility. But may be next time!
