- Living Mountains - [Re-post]
One of the pre-visualised shot even before the trip happened. Was very eager and optimistic to see these species and as if things were made for me - and happened to make this image during my trip to Ladakh.

For people who are still wondering as to what it is - its the Humps of the Bactrian Camel or the Double Humped Camel found at the Nubra Valley in Ladakh.

After making this image i felt that the play of light and shadow on the humps as well as the slight amount of details in the distant hills made the image more special - atleast for me :)

Intentional slant composition to show some sort of dimension to mimic the type of mountains we saw during the trip. :?

Would love to know your views on this.

NOTE: Reuploaded the image after a small round of aggressive sharpening

I like the exposure, I like the tilt, I like the theme and I love the image, simple. :) Could have called Furry hills :).

Shiv, sharpness now looks *correct*. It is definitely not aggressive as you mentioned in your mail. My only doubt being we both having different scale for what ideal sharpness should for this image !

@Ganesh - Probably its my frustration with my eyes which made me use that word "aggressive" actually i just did one more round of 50@.1 Smartsharpen. I guess I have some problems with my eyes - as i told you in your house yesterday, your image appeared soft on my house monitor and now the one posted previous to this. Anyways - guess its sits fine now :)

Awww! This amazing vizualization and great execution. Love the way you have composed this image. It's shouting bactrian! Must have in a coffee table book! ;-)
