Lovely original image Shankar! If you remember, I was sitting beside trying to make some images of them flying. I failed to generate the mood I wanted to convey. Incidently there is day and night difference in mood that gets generated when you freeze ther motion (that is what I did) and the approach you took. As presented I think you get better balance if you crop a few pixels from left of the frame (since majority of the flow of birds is towards right).

It's a Superb Image Shankar ... the slow shutter is good idea ... I feel even slower would have been even better

Very original especially the use of slow shutter and the birds make an amazing image.

Ganesh, I remember the situation. Only 2 frames of the whole lot we tried resulted this effect. May be I could have done better in mild lighting condition. And let me try cropping left side of the image.

A fantastic composition Shankar. I would have loved to include a bit more of the rock in the frame and keep the birds a little bit above in the frame. The random motion of the birds are giving this image a unique feel to me.

Unique....simple yet creates a nice mood...would have loved to have more room in the direction they are flying.

Nicely done. I Like the static rock against the motion of the birds.
