Shutter was low to freeze birds in flight. Decided to try panning shots. This one is came out well amongst many other.
Exif: 1/8 shutter speed, f11, ISO 100, 240mm focal length, hand held.
Thanks in advance for your views and comments.

I liked this shot. The panning and flapping of wings do create a special feel to this picture

Well made blurred image with panning. Diagonal lines add to the image. Wish there was single image of bird. Nevertheless beautiful effect. Thank you for sharing.

This is looking very different from the usual slow speed images we get to see. I think that due to the double egret, honestly I dont mind it. But if you ask me I still feel 1/8 is a little too low perhaps :), nevertheless, this image is surely a bit different from the usual slow shutter speed images we get to see. Well done I would say.

Fantastic image Madhav. For me this is very fine. The double head makes the image more interesting for me. The diagonal orientation is imparting a nice feel to the image. Overall a fine result! Thanks for sharing...

Madhav, very nice effect here. I like the motion blur. Panning is solid. Hardly any vertical shake(you do have very steady hands!). However, I felt the bird is a bit dominant in the frame. My eyes just stay on the bird, ignoring the BG. Zooming out a little and placing the bird to further left could have given some more prominence to the BG and brought in a better perspective, IMO. TFS.

thank you Masters for your views.
@Shankarji, Niranjanji, Nevilji: I am a complete rookie in panning. Infact this is my first panning shot. I have to figure out the right shutter speed to get good results. Even i feel 1/8 is too less. Will try with little higher speed next time.

@Rameshji: This is a moderate crop. There was a slightly bright patch at the left of the frame and I decided to avoid it by choosing this crop. May be I should lighten up the BG too along with going for lesser crop.

Thank you all once again,
Madhav
