Patterns
I made this image a few months back at Sirsi. While searching for small birds I found this patterns of a tree interesting.
In a related note, it may be interesting to understand why we like patterns in nature - may be patterns are easier on eyes
and patterns reduce the state space of an image - Just my understanding, love to know your thoughts..

I fully agree with you Ganesh. Patterns make wonderful subjects. It also allows one to think in his or her own way. Very good shot here once again.

I remember this image Ganesh. Yes, patterns in nature are quite amazing and captures our attention fast as we try to relate it to what we may have seen in the past.

Agree with u on patterns being easier on yes. That apart, having patterns in a image implies that eyes can comprehend the whole image much sooner by mentally reproducing a certain section (pattern) into N number of times; which otherwise eyes have to see each section of the image & co-relate things as one. May be this is one of the reasons why aesthetic images either have patterns or have very less & simple components in them.
