Deer in River
Made this image last weekend @ Kabini.
"NOT converted to b/w", the harsh light in the morning made this image for me. Deliberately kept the deer in center, and did not remove bright spots from the frame.

RD this image work really well despite the plonked subject. The trailing lit up water, along with the subtle ripples on either side and the well defined head and antlers are wonderfully presented. I guess we should know all the rules to know when we can break them!

This is really hitting the nail on the head, great image, the deer head and the ripples, I like the hint of color in the image. Would be nice to see a version if you can play around with the WB which alters the image mood.
