Cicada in the forest
Here weather is getting cloudy day by day.It is very uncommon to see rain and cloudy days this time of the year. This year the no. of Cicadas have increased to a great extent.
Here I have tried to make flight shot of Cicada using wide angle. The big challenge is getting the Cicada significantly big in the frame. I am not fully satisfied with the result.
waiting for your views.

Adithya, I really liked it. It may be a chance or well timed shot, but result is good to my taste. I would crop just to show the Cicada and bokeh effect around it. Nice image to me. Thank you for sharing.

Apart from the distractions, this image works for me.. esp colors and the way bokeh blends with Cicada and highlights. Would have been a great one had there not been those other distractions.

A very nice attempt Adithya! The blurred cicada works for me in this case which kind of gives the abstract feel to the image. I agree with others as to not having other elements in the frame, but I know the difficulty and pain in getting at least this one. Kudos to your effort and keep trying.
